Founded by British Colonists in 1891, the Royal Club is the oldest golf club in Spain. The wonderful golf course was designed by the famous course designer, Mackenzie Ross, and is completely unique. Guests may enjoy the greens, which lie amidst fabulous Canary Island flora and fauna including mimosa and palm trees. The 18-hole course lies in an extinct volcano on the greener side of the island, with the first tee-off leading downhill from the crater. Guests are truly in store for a treat when playing on this course, as it is both green and filled with blossoming flowers. There are occasionally club tournaments at the weekends meaning that gusts may only tee off later in the day.
